This non-surgical treatment tightens the skin and is suitable for most skin types and textures, although there are some contraindications:

  • If on the Fitzpatrick scale you are above a 4 (patch tests are available to see how you heal before doing a treatment)

  • If you are prone to scarring/keloids

  • If you have severe(active) acne, lupus, psoriasis, or vitiligo

  • If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, immune-deficient, or have any other autoimmune disorder

  • The skin must be it's natural color and not altered by the sun during the time of your treatment

Pre-treatment:

  • No excessive sun exposure at least 2 weeks prior to treatment

  • No Botox or fillers at least 2 weeks prior to treatment (in the area being treated)

  • No blood thinners a week prior to treatment

  • No use of Accutane within 6 months of treatment

What expect after your treatment:

Swelling peaks the day following treatment (especially around the eye area). Swelling usually lasts 1-3 days but can last longer depending on the intensity of the treatment and the healing ability if the patient. You can apply a cold compress to reduce swelling. Discomfort, pain and slight discharge can occur and is normal. Scabs will form where the plasma arc was applied. Scabs will fall off between 7-10 days (longer with larger areas such as breasts and stomach). Do not pick the scabs as this can cause scarring and possible infection. By day 4 swelling and pain should start to subside. Once all of the scabs have fallen off, make sure to protect the treated area with SPF daily, This is extremely important as the area will be hypersensitive to sunlight. By week 3-4 you may still see pink/red dots, this is still new skin and will continue to fade as you heal. You are fully healed at 8-12 weeks.

*More than one treatment may be necessary to reach your desired results.

Fibroblast skin tightening is a cosmetic treatment that uses plasma to reduce the volume of excessive skin. It is low risk, minimal downtown, and affordable. Fibroblast works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tips and the skin to form a plasma charge. An electrical arc is created and instantly shrinks the targeted skin. This micro trauma stimulates new collagen and creates tiny spits where the skin will tighten around them. Fibroblast can treat loose/crepey skin, wrinkles and fine lines, sagging eyelids, stretch marks (mostly on stomach) and skin tags. The scabs fall off in about 7-10 days and the dots can take a couple of months to fade completely. Results are as permanent as invasive surgery.

  • Fitzpatrick skin types 4-6 have a risk of hypo/hyper pigmentation. Consultations are strongly suggested for deeper skin tones
